Fox News Names Aishah Hasnie Anchor and White House Correspondent

Fox News has promoted Aishah Hasnie to anchor and White House correspondent, elevating the journalist to one of the most important jobs within the news division of the cable channel.

Hasnie, who has worked as senior national correspondent, congressional correspondent and a New York-based correspondent since joining Fox in 2019, will get her own Saturday show from 12-2 PM beginning Jan. 10, and will also join Peter Doocy and Jacqui Heinrich in the White House briefing room.

“Aishah’s knowledge of Washington makes her a perfect addition to our stellar White House team of correspondents, and we are confident she will excel in the anchor chair as well,” said Fox News president and executive editor Jay Wallace.

“I am thrilled for the opportunity to deliver critical information to our viewers across the country in the anchor chair and honored to join our prestigious White House correspondent team,” Hasnie added.

Hasnie previously worked for Fox and CBS stations in Indiana
